Ok, it is. I swear it is. We just got word that our segment has been pushed to Monday or Tuesday. I know, I know. But I'm not the CEO of the station yet, so I have very little control...so sorry! I'll let you know when I know.
On a much more exciting note, Amelia has been pushing up onto all fours into a crawling position. She did it three times on Wednesday night while our friends, Art and Terry were visiting us at the Ronald McDonald House. Terry and I were there for it. The guys were off -- doing their manly things -- and we were trying to get her to go to sleep. Amelia was playing around in her crib and up she went. It was astounding! She went up twice and on the third one, she fell to the side and wiped out. I pulled out the video camera to see if maybe she would do it again and not only did she get up -- but she sat back onto her heels. The whole move was so controlled and purposeful. Terry and I were in complete shock! AND WE CAUGHT IT ON TAPE! What are the odds? It was really, really dark and difficult to see, but Nestor tweaked it in imovie and it's a lot better.
She's been "trying out" a lot of stuff. She's been pushing up here and there since the video was done -- and this is all just the beginning. The folks at Therapies 4 Kids were talking about all the magnificent things we'll see in the weeks to come. They told us that the learning, strength and coordination will continue to amaze us as she settles back into her daily routine. I can hardly wait. Amelia's responded so incredibly well to this whole program -- what a true blessing that we were introduced to them. Thanks Joe.
